This Tribal law enforcement based training will provide a level of understanding and respect for Tribal culture and reflect "core competencies" including: Historical Perspectives, Native American Traditions, Spiritual Beliefs, Cultural Aspects, and Tribal Leadership, within the context of addressing methamphetamine problems in Tribal communities. Focuses on integrating Tribal-based cultural competencies as the foundational theme, this culturally-sensitive, culturally-competent, Tribal-specific training is relevent to all Tribal law enforcement agencies, regardless of their geographic location, physical size, or available resources.
