The Oklahoma Regional Community Policing Institute's mission is to enable all community members, law enforcement, government officials, community leaders and merchants, educational professionals and students, to see themselves as stakeholders in building a safer Oklahoma. Upper Midwest Community Policing Institute (UMCPI)

Our goal is simple... create safer communities and reduce the fear of crime.

We work with grassroots community groups and local law enforcement agencies to promote collaborative problem solving, build trust, and create sustainable partnerships. The problems UMCPI focuses on - such as human trafficking, gangs, and public accountability - are ones neither law enforcement nor the community can tackle on their own.
